2025 Mountaineer of Honor
We are excited to honor Dr. Kelly R. Nelson as the 2025 recipient of the United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties’ prestigious Mountaineer of Honor award! A special dinner and ceremony will take place on April 1st.
Dr. Nelson’s philanthropic efforts have had a significant impact on our community. As the founder and president of Medbrook Children’s Charity, he has raised over $2 million for local underprivileged children since 2000. His dedication to community service has earned him numerous accolades, including Distinguished West Virginian and Health Care Hero.
Dr. Nelson’s hard work and determination have touched countless lives, making him a true Mountaineer. Let’s celebrate his incredible contributions and commitment to our community!
