Looking for the True Backyard/Weekend BBQ’R
No Professionals will be permitted to enter; However there will be Vendor opportunities available
Grills MUST consist of Charcoal, Wood or Pellet Grills-NO PROPANE permitted
Entry Fee:
$100 Due with Registration
Registration Deadline, June 5, 2024 Registration Fee must be paid upon registration
All Proceeds benefit United Way-CASA & Healthy Grandparents initiative
Must have 15 teams minimum
Setup Time: 8:00am
Inspection: 9:00am All meats must be inspected, on ice and in original or natural packaging
Team Meeting: 11:00am
Meat to be judged includes, Steak, Ribs and Chicken-Choice of Leg/Thigh/Pulled
Judging:
Taste/Tenderness/Appearance -This will be a Ten (10) point scale
Six (6) Judges
One (1) Blind Judge who will collect presentations
Turn in six (6) separate portions of each meat
Thirty (30) minute time interval for turn in
Steak: 5:00pm
Chicken: 5:30pm
Ribs: 6:00pm
Awards:
Three (3) Winners per Steak, Ribs, & Chicken
One (1) Overall Winner
Trophies or Plaques will be awarded
